What Is Mom2Mom?

Mom2Mom is a parenting course developed for mothers with children in the home.  Our goal is that all mothers, regardless of background or belief, will find a comfortable, encouraging environment in which to grow and share.

At Mom2Mom, women of various backgrounds find that they are not alone in the joys and struggles of raising a family.

What Are The Meetings Like?

We meet on Tuesday mornings, 10-11:45.

We will offer three sessions, each with a unique environment.  During the first and third sessions, a separate children’s program will be provided for those who register.

Session Descriptions

SESSION I (FALL 08)
Dates:  September 16- December  2
Fee:  $40 (After September 2, $50). Scholarships available.
Program: These 10 meetings are similar to those we’ve come to expect from Mom2Mom with an informative and challenging lecture along with brunch and small group discussion. The lectures include varied topics, such as, Meals without Battles, Delightful Discipline and Kid-Friendly Vacations. This session focuses on practical matters of parenting, helpful to all moms, regardless of background or faith.

SESSION II (WINTER 09)
Dates: Tuesdays in January and February
No Fee
Program: During these winter months we  offer creative, informal playgroups for moms and children, rotating among moms’ homes.   This is a fun time to deepen friendships and invite new moms into the group.

SESSION III (SPRING 09)
Dates: Tuesdays in March and April
Fee:  $30. Scholarships available.
Program:  This 10-week session is designed like a book club. We explore and discuss parenting topics in light of a Christian author’s point of view – e.g., Building a Home Full of Grace by John and Susan Yates. We  welcome questions and lively discussions.

May I Visit?

Yes.  We welcome visitors for every part of the program except Small Groups, which are consistent throughout the Fall Session in order to build intimacy in friendships.

If the children’s program has an opening, you may bring children who are between birth and 5 years old.

Whether bringing children or not, please call in advance, so we can welcome you at the door.
